the hotel was really good value personal touches were great real good service would highly recommend
Staff breakfast Spacious room and comfortable bed
Hotel stay were all very pleasent, room was comfortable and clean, food was great.
Friendly relaxed atmosphere and central to the places we wished to visit; and the price was right!!!
The staff were very friendly, the hotel was very clean and the food was very good and nicely presented. The bedroom was in a quiet area of the hotel and even though it was not very big and the bed was a double, not a queen or king size like we are used to, it was very comfortable and the ensuite has everything in it we needed.
I booked our stay and then when I tried to use my membership plus card to receive a discount I was told I had to declare this when booking. This was great advice I thought after the fact and seemed strange to me as you only pay at the end of your stay.
we had an excellent break and the staff were so pleasant food fantastic and our room was brilliant will be going back soon
Warm and friendly from the minute you walk through the door. No complaints regarding staff or accommodation. First Class!
Facilities listed on the web a little misleading. We thought that there was a swimming pool on the premises for use by guests. This was infact a council run pool in the outskirts of the town. Made use of the spa which was just the ticket! Only gripe would have to be the price. Alot of money for a little bit of pampering. I think staff need to familiarise themselves with the local sites - not enough information on things to do and what is worth seeing and doing. However, it definitely has not put me off and will hopefully be back later in year!
The staff(s) were all very helpful, courteous and patient. The meals were excellent and very good value and there was a good variety of drinks available.and the hotel was well situated for exploring Donegal.
excellent parking, confortable beds, no hallway or bar noise even though the bar was packed for football.
Hotel was easy to find looks lovely on arrival. Spa was lovely, had a hot stone massage with Alison and everything about was great. Would visit spa again.
Was not told anything on arrival other than the directions to our room which must have been near a laundry room or store because there was alot of noise early in the morning. Had a meal in the bar on first evening, had apple tart for dessert which consisted of lumpy cold custard and a blob of runny cream, not very appetising. On our second morning there was no fruit left even though it was 9.30 (breakfast was until 10)
Very clean, gret staff, well located excellent bar & restaurant
Friendly staff Good quality accomodation
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The food is excellent+ and the staff are the friendliest we have encountered in all our hotel visits. This is the first time we have stayed in a donegal hotel and we will certainly return.
It was a warm and welcoming hotel, with a like-home feel, but also luxurious with nice amenities and spacious rooms. Did not use the spa facilities but it appeared that there was a wide range of services. Breakfast was tasty, although the hostess seemed to be a bit overworked.
